Billy Bob Thornton performs Santa Claus, delivering his trademark surly, Napoleon-complex efficiency in its authentic type. Tony Cox performs his assistant Marcus, a member of the Lollipop Children Membership whose colourful dialogue retains Bernie Mac’s division detective King in his tracks. John Ritter performs the straight man and Bob Chipeska performs the division retailer supervisor. Heather Graham offers a down-to-earth efficiency as a bartender with a Santa Claus complicated. Ajay Naidu’s character is a scene-stealer, offering comedian reduction in a confrontation with Santa Claus, whom he blames for his sexual orientation points. But it surely’s Brett Kelly’s efficiency as “The Child” that makes the narrative work—suppose Hitchcock’s MacGuffin.
