Nigerian movie producer and actor Adanma Luke has spoken out in regards to the incident in April 2024 when actor John Odonwodo, popularly often known as “The Little Pope,” and 4 different crew members have been touring to her An apology has been issued to the folks of Nigeria for the tragic boat accident that killed folks en path to a film set.
Luke, the movie’s producer, posted a video on her Instagram on Monday the opposite facet of lifeshared how deeply sorry she was and the way the incident left her battling melancholy.
“I am simply right here to say I am sorry. I am sorry, Nigerians. I am sorry that I took away your family members, based on folks. I am heartbroken that although I attempt to be robust, I do not contemplate myself robust. For I used to be devastated that this occurred on my set and heartbroken that they got here to work for me on the time. I am not God; this was meant to be, however why me?
In her emotional message, she requested for forgiveness, stressing that the accident was not intentional. “All of us love JP and all of us love the opposite individuals who misplaced their lives – my crew.
Luke clarified that the boat was for transportation and was not a part of the filming, saying: “We did not shoot on the water in any respect; we simply shot on the water. It is a car.” She added that she had requested for a greater location to shoot the film and her group advised her it might be protected.
“I did not imply to do that and I take all of the accountability. Please, Nigerians, I am sorry. I used to be shedding my life and falling into melancholy. Please forgive me,” she pleaded.
