Woman Like, a documentary about RuPaul’s Drag Race Season 14 standout Woman Camden (aka Rex Wheeler), has been acquired by Freestyle Digital Media for distribution in North America. The banner units a launch date for digital leases and purchases as January 3, 2025, with a DVD launch on January 7, 2025.
Woman Like, directed by Luke Willis, had its world premiere on the BFI Flare London LGBTQIA+ Movie Competition and was chosen to display screen on the occasion’s closing evening in March. Willis and Carter Fehelm function writers, and Willis and Biscuit Volukas function producers.
The movie tells the story of Woman Camden, a London-born, San Francisco-based drag queen who thrust into the worldwide highlight with a contest on “Drag Race” in 2022. Together with Mrs. Mden, “Drag Race” competitor Nina West narrates the present, whereas Shiloh Clarke narrates the present.
