    Almodóvar, Guadagnino and Leigh compete for European Film Awards

    The European Movie Academy has added 16 extra characteristic movies to its European Movie Awards characteristic listing, generally known as the Function Movie Choice. 45 of the 29 movies introduced.

    These movies will now be thought-about for the nomination stage for the European Movie Awards. Nominees can be introduced on November 5.

    These embody a number of Venice Prize winners: Pedro Almodóvar’s Golden Lion winner “The Room Subsequent Door,” Grand Jury Prize winner “Vermiglio,” Particular Jury Prize winner “April” and Horizon Prize winner “From The New Yr But to Come”. Different works embody Edward Berger’s “Conclave,” Mike Leigh’s “The Exhausting Reality,” and Luca Guadagnino’s “Queer.”

    The movies had been chosen by the European Movie Academy Board of Administrators, in session with a crew of invited specialists.

    The European Movie Awards can be held on December 7 in Lucerne, Switzerland.

    “My Father’s Daughter”, director: Egil Pedersen (Norway, Sweden, Finland)
    “Queer”, director: Luca Guadagnino (Italy, United States)
    “The New Yr That By no means Comes”, Director: Bogdan Muresanu (Romania, Serbia)

    “The Sparrow within the Chimney”, director: Ramon Zürcher (Switzerland)
