    Twifo Atti-Morkwa constituency NPP parliamentary candidate jailed for alleged car fraud

    Ebenezer Dwamena, the New Patriotic Get together (NPP) MP for Twifo Atti-Morkwa constituency within the Central Area, has been arrested for his involvement in an alleged automobile fraud scheme.

    Devamena is accused of collaborating in a conspiracy to defraud beneath false pretenses.

    He has been remanded to police custody by the Assin Kyekyewere District Courtroom.

    The constituency chairman reportedly bought a automobile from a vendor and later launched some pals to the vendor who wished to purchase the automobile.

    Nevertheless, pals who paid for the automobile had a tough time selecting it up from the vendor as a result of the vendor took their cash and failed to supply the automobile.

    This led to a police report being filed, which led to Devamena’s arrest.

    Nevertheless, a celebration official within the Twifo Atti-Morkwa constituency mentioned it was really Dwamena who reported the difficulty to police as a result of he was involved about his fame as he was the one who launched the pair to the automobile vendor.

    The Assin Kyekyewere District Courtroom remanded the defendant in custody for 2 weeks to permit police to finish investigations.
